Ireland has always been on the right side of history. They have diplomatic relations with the Choctaw, who donated to the Irish famine despite actively living through the Trail of Years at the time. They have a scholarship for the Choctaw, and they provided aid to the Navajo and Hopi during the COVID pandemic, saying they were “paying it forward.”
