Just 42 days in office and facing a $7B deficit, Mamdani proposing a 2% income tax hike and higher corporate taxes.

I don’t know much about mamdani but from what I’ve seen he’s had great ideas and can execute and is well liked… do u think years down the road he would ever run for president?

Tragically he is not eligible to run for president 😢 the constitution says only people born on US soil can run for president and Mamdani was born in Uganda to non-American parents. He successfully got citizenship in 2018 but that still doesn’t change the fact he wasn’t “born here” :(
