Can’t wait to see you at the local town, county, and politic meeting, most happen at 6. If you could make it by the board of elections for their 10:30 meeting it would be super helpful I gotta work those days

My county board meetings happen during business hours because the local Democratic Party didn’t want poor & working class people to be able to attend and participate in them

That’s fucked bro, go to any of the other meetings you possibly can. The same things happened with republicans in my area. Go to the meeting you can when you can and ask others to fill in where you can’t My school board now comes up and shakes my hand when they see me in public because I’ve caused such a scene with them. We maxed our fire regulations in two different rooms on the same night

The board of elections in nc is required to have a democrat and a republican on the board, so they’ve clearly decided together 10:30 which is fucking horrible. I’m constantly on their ass about updating public information, but you know how it is in rural towns

The general meetings for your local parties should be at reasonable times I can’t for the life of me to get them to schedule a protest outside of 9am on a Tuesday morning, but I get to attend their general meetings and I’m making huge effort there
