They get everything they want with republicans in office, and in fact they get more donations with republicans in office than democrats. There is negative incentive for the DNC to win elections.

the democrats are the excuse republicans have to declare they aren’t going against the will of the voters. i mean, it’s not like the OPPOSITION would cave, right?
