All I will say, if you also had to deal with a large population with the extreme social and cultural conservatism of much of south Asian Islam, you guys would understand why Indians do not like Islam much.

it’s bonkers to me that when a group has fucked up regressive cultural practices, the follow up is always “so it’s OK to do state sponsored violence against them”. like ok but you realize that gujarati Muslim women ALSO suffer from violence against Muslims right

like am I supposed to believe the remedy to women’s oppression is relentlessly persecuting them and their families? It sounds like you don’t want them to be free, you just want them to be oppressed somewhere else, or dead.
