Im pretty sure its a mixture of both. Greed is definitely a factor for most but there are those who hate him soley bc they believe any brown nation like Puerto rico shouldnt be apart of the US. they are the minority but its still a thing

But even then… I’ve seen multiple conservatives offer who they want to see perform, particularly rock artists, and that would still have conservatives calling those artists satanic. They all think their individual desires are greater than the greater population
