 I think Mamdanis campaign might go down as one of the most successful in recent history. He began this campaign as a no name with little recognition and won the primary for NYC mayor over several nationally known candidates. He became a national name.

Exactly! He came into this with pretty much no name recognition and gained a dedicated and energized base to beat out Cuomo who was already a nationally recognizable name.
