I'm sick of the gaia slander. the dilemma you posed is so fucking fake. nobody said every gain is exploitation. the claim is that liberals package concessions in a way that protects the system producing the harm. the ACA expanded coverage AND locked in private insurers as middlemen. both are true at once. that's not unfalsifiable, it's testable: show me liberal governance reversing the decline in labor's share or union density and the point dies. you just didn't engage it.

You replaced a sweeping claim about liberalism that she made with two conveniently selected economic indicators. Union density and labor’s share matter, but neither independently measures whether reforms improve lives or proves liberals caused their decline. decline. And if reforms fail, liberalism is ineffective, but if they succeed, liberalism is legitimizing exploitation. That’s the unfalsifiable framework I’m criticizing.

Yes. I worked defense for a little bit but couldn’t feasibly do the job without sacrificing my own morals, so I left. Picked up day trading and then worked as a researcher for a lobbying firm until I decided I’d help my brother grow the business.
