We truly live in the future dawg. Ppl with HIV can now live normal lifespans. Like we don’t talk about this enough

Never forget that conservatives intentionally did not address HIV as it was spreading in the 80’s for years because they thought it was “God’s divine punishment”. We lost so many people because of their choice to not act

This is a letter from artist Félix González-Torres to his lover Ross Laycock, who had recently been diagnosed with AIDS. He's referring to his own artwork "Untitled (Perfect Lovers)", described below.

You might also recognize his 1991 work “Untitled (Portrait of Ross in L.A.)”, a pile of candies that people are invited to take pieces from, and the candy is replenished by curators. The ideal weight is 175 pounds, which was Ross’s weight.
