NC is basically a blue state, with a legislature captured by Republicans through gerrymandering. I’ve lived here since 2004, in that time we’ve had 5 governors, 4 of them Democrats. Right now we have a Democratic governor, lt. governor, attorney general, Secretary of State, and several other positions on the council of state, but those are the important ones.
