This is the equivalent of asking a German how long they have been German for. Jews aren’t doing Genocide, Isreal is. Germans didn’t do genocide. The Nazis did. But ofc there is a whole lot of overlap

Considering Israel is a theocracy based around Judaism, asking for the opinion of someone in that same religion helps us all learn and apply context to the situation. I would love to hear a Muslim’s opinion on sharia-law (most likely they don’t agree with it) to understand the relationship between a governing power and its citizens. Fully comprehending these things is the only thing that can prevent history from repeating
