Why not? A mass shooting is a mass shooting, regardless of motive. Why bring up gang violence AT ALL in that moment unless you were trying to make insinuations?

Because gangs are all races not just specific ones. Second off because gang violence and normal violence are different. Gangs most likely use illegal guns while people who go to schools don’t. Having statistics for it all is important and knowing the difference is too.
