This fr my doc been trying to tell me the long term effect of it possibly causing psychosis and/or psychotic episodes in certain people but I swear it’s too late
Unpopular opinion in stoner community, but smoking longer term and multiple times a day ain’t it. Like you live in “the fog”, feelings are numb, derealization, you don’t feel fully connected to life/people

Idk I’ve been smoking almost everyday for years and it haven’t necessarily made my psychosis symptoms better or worse. I don’t want to say it’s made it better bc since I started I’ve been put on an antipsychotic medication which has really helped me. I have had no problem stopping smoking for like vacation or something (like it would be nice if I could but it’s not the end of the world) but idk that’s my experience as an extremely mentally ill person

Side note I already had possible genetic conditions (MDD) of being someone to get these effects, prolonged use can just amplify the effects; That being said weed is a choice I prefer over taking depression medication cause those make me feel empty inside

Yea I’m fine with a T-break I’m not totally dependent on it, my episodes are random but I’ve noticed the past years they’re usually in the winter times so I’m trying to lean off it more rn. My doc said there’s ppl that can be susceptible to the effects but never get them. When I was on Prozac I honestly felt worse after a while so I cold turkeyd it and been feeling better just with occasional weed
